NordVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on subscriptions bought directly from nordvpn.com. To claim it, open the 24/7 live chat on NordVPN's website or Help Center, tell the agent you'd like a refund under the money-back guarantee, and confirm your account email. Refunds are usually processed within about 10 business days, depending on your payment method.

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, request the refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com — NordVPN cannot refund App Store payments. For Google Play, request it through your Google Play account (Google's standard refund window is about 48 hours; after that you may need to contact Google support). Note that cryptocurrency payments are non-refundable.

Cancelling auto-renewal stops future charges only — you keep full NordVPN access until the end of your current billing period, whether that's next month or the end of a multi-year plan. Nothing is cut off immediately.
