How to Get a Amazon Kids+ Refund If You Were Already Charged
Amazon's standard policy for subscription cancellations is that they stop future renewals and keep the service active until the end of your billing cycle, without issuing refunds for partial months.
However, Amazon Kids+ is one of the few services where you may receive a prorated refund automatically if you activate a new hardware bundle (like a new Fire Kids tablet) that comes with a free year of Kids+.
If you were billed for an accidental renewal, go to Amazon's Customer Service page (amazon.com/contact-us), start a live chat, and explain that the renewal was unintentional. If you request a refund within 24 to 48 hours of the renewal and the service has not been accessed by your child during that period, customer support will usually issue a prorated or full refund as a courtesy.
Do not file a chargeback with your credit card company. Amazon is notoriously strict about chargebacks and will permanently lock your entire Amazon account, including Kindle libraries, Amazon Prime memberships, and AWS accounts.
