How to Cancel Hungryroot

Hungryroot does not offer refunds for boxes that have already shipped or processed past the weekly deadline.

If your groceries arrive damaged, spoiled, or missing items, contact help@hungryroot.com. They will typically issue account credits for the affected items, though you can request a refund if you are closing your account.

Once cancelled, you will not receive any future deliveries that were successfully stopped before the shopping window cutoff.

Any boxes that were already processed (past the cutoff deadline) will still be delivered and charged.

Thrive Market is an online grocery store focusing on organic and healthy foods, but without the auto-populated meal planning aspect of Hungryroot.

HelloFresh or Blue Apron offer structured meal kits if you prefer strict recipes over Hungryroot's grocery-style approach.

• The Shopping Window Deadline. You must cancel before your weekly "shopping window" closes. If you miss this deadline, your grocery box is already processing and you will be charged for it. Check your account for your specific cutoff day.
• You can Pause instead of cancelling. In your Account Settings, you can choose to pause your deliveries for 4, 6, or 8 weeks if you just need a temporary break.
• You can Skip individual deliveries. Go to "My Hungryroot" (or your Cart in the app), select an upcoming delivery, and choose "Skip Delivery." You can do this up to 3 weeks in advance.
