How to Cancel Amazon Subscribe & Save

Because you only pay when an item ships, cancelling a subscription simply prevents future charges. There is nothing to refund for the subscription itself.

If an item shipped before you could cancel, you can usually return it for a refund like any normal Amazon purchase. Start a return at amazon.com/returns.

Once you cancel, you will receive an email confirmation from Amazon. The item will be removed from your upcoming deliveries list.

If you cancelled after the lock-in date for an upcoming delivery, that final delivery will still arrive and be charged to your card.

You can always set up a new Subscribe & Save delivery for the same item later if you need it again.

Walmart+ offers similar auto-delivery options on household staples, sometimes at lower prices.

Target Subscriptions provides auto-delivery for many everyday items, often with an extra 5% off if you use a Target RedCard.

• Skip a delivery instead. If you just have too much of a product but want to keep the subscription long-term, you don't need to cancel. Click on the item and select "Skip" to skip the next scheduled delivery.
• Cancel each item individually. Amazon Subscribe & Save treats each product as a separate subscription. If you want to stop all automatic deliveries, you must cancel every item individually.
• Check the "Last day to update" date. You must cancel before the lock-in date for your upcoming delivery. If an order has already locked and started processing, cancelling the subscription will only stop future deliveries — the current box will still arrive and be charged.
• Missing the Cancel button in the app? In the Amazon mobile app, users often click "Edit" and can't find the cancel button. You must tap the actual product image or title to see the full settings menu, which includes the Cancel Subscription option.
