Bank Sync · Watch
Connect a bank or card and the charges it reports as repeating are added to your list on their own — the real amount, the real date, and every new one as it appears. Read-only through Plaid, for banks in the United States and Canada, with Premium.
PremiumUp to 5 bank accounts in the US and Canada. 7-day free trial.
Every subscription you forgot about still leaves a line on your statement, month after month. Bank sync reads those lines for you, so the forgotten ones — the trial that converted, the second streaming plan, the annual renewal from last spring — show up in your list without you remembering they exist.
On the Accounts screen, tap Connect bank and pick your bank on Plaid's secure screen. You sign in there, not here, and the account joins your wallet at the front of the deck, marked Synced, beside the cards you added by hand. The plan card keeps count: five connection slots, and how many are left.
Once the link is up, the charges your bank reports as recurring land in your Recurring list with their real amount and their next date — subscriptions, and bills like electricity with an estimated amount. There is no inbox to clear: they are simply there, and new ones keep arriving as your bank sees them.
Each time the bank turns up a subscription you were not tracking, an email says so: “We spotted Netflix on your connected account and added it for you,” with the amount, the billing cycle, the category and the next billing date. Review subscription opens that record.
A record from your bank mirrors what the bank reports, so it has no Edit, Delete or Mark paid — the next sync would only put them back. What it does have, behind the ⋮, is the honest set: mark it cancelled, Ignore it so it leaves your lists and alerts, or write a rule so every future charge from that merchant is handled the same way.
The linked account has its own page: Connected, when the balances were last updated, the institution and the last four digits. It says plainly that Renew Reminder can never move money. Remove connection stops syncing and closes the link at your bank — and everything it already brought in stays.

There is no way to pay, transfer, cancel or change anything at the bank from Renew Reminder. The account page says it in so many words: Renew Reminder can never move money.
The token Plaid issues for your link is stored encrypted, so a copy of the database alone cannot be used to read your accounts. Card numbers are never stored in full — only the last four digits.
Bank sync pauses on the free plan and you are emailed before a linked bank is disconnected. Every record it already brought in stays, and you can remove a link yourself at any time.
