Forward the receipt.
We find what to track.

Every account gets its own address at inbox.renewreminder.com. Forward a receipt from any email app, or let a Gmail filter send them as they arrive. Renew Reminder reads out the merchant, the amount and the date — and the find waits for you. Nothing is added until you press Done.

Free100 emails to get you started, then up to 25 a month, on every plan.

  • Only senders you allow are read
  • The email itself is never kept

The receipt is already
in your inbox.

Every subscription you pay for emails you: the welcome, the receipt, the renewal notice. Forwarding them turns mail you already get into your list — the merchant, the amount and the next date read out for you, and checked by you before anything is saved.

01

Your own address, made from your username.

Open Settings, then Email forwarding, and your address is ready: your username at inbox.renewreminder.com. Copy it, share it, or have the setup steps emailed to you. Pause it whenever you like — mail that arrives while paused is held, unread, until you resume.

  • yourname@inbox.renewreminder.com
  • Copy, Share, or Email me the setup instructions
  • Change your username — the old address keeps working
  • In the app and in the web app

02

Forward one by hand, from any email app.

No setup: open a receipt, invoice or renewal email and forward it to your address from Mail, Gmail, Outlook or anything else. Your sign-in email is an allowed sender from the start, so the first forward just works — and old receipts count too, so you can forward a backlog on day one.

  • Receipts, invoices and renewal notices
  • The first 100 emails are on the house; then 25 a month
  • Mail filtered out before reading is never counted
03

Or let Gmail forward them for you.

Set it up once, on a computer: add your Renew Reminder address as a forwarding address in Gmail, copy the confirmation code Gmail sends — it appears at the top of the Email forwarding screen — then create a filter with the search the app gives you. Only the emails that match are forwarded; the rest of your inbox stays where it is.

  • Gmail's confirmation code shows up in the app
  • A filter, not full forwarding: only matching mail goes
  • The search is ready to copy and paste

Every find waits for your yes.

On days something is found, one notification says so — “Renew Reminder found 1 subscription in your email” — and opens Email finds. Each find shows the merchant, the amount, how often it bills, the email it came from and a one-line reason, so you can check it against your inbox in a second.

  • Found in “Payment received” from Hulu
  • At most one notification a day
  • A match for something you track is marked Already tracked
  • Review and add, or Dismiss
05

Already filled in. You press Done.

Review and add opens the same form you use for everything else, with the name, the amount, the billing cycle and the next date taken from the email. Anything the email did not say is left for you to fill in, never guessed. Press Done and it is tracked, with reminders like every other record.

  • Nothing is saved until you press Done
  • Blank where the email was unclear, never a guess
  • Saved in your account's currency
06

Only senders you allow are read.

Your address is your username, so someone could guess it. The sender lock — on by default — means only addresses on your allowed list are read: your sign-in email, and up to 5 senders in all, each new one confirmed with a code. Anything else is held, unread, for you to process or discard.

  • Sender lock on by default
  • Held mail: Process now, or Discard
  • Held mail is deleted after 7 days
  • Turning the lock off asks you first
07

Nothing kept that you did not ask for.

Each email is read once by an automated reader. What stays is the sender, the subject, when it arrived and what was found — never the body — and that history clears itself after 30 days. Turn off and delete removes your address, every find, held mail, your history and your allowed senders straight away; everything you already added stays.

  • Never the body of the email
  • Activity clears itself after 30 days
  • Clear history, any time
  • Turn off and delete, any time

What happens to your email

What we read

Only the emails you forward to your address. We never connect to your inbox and cannot see anything you do not send us. Each email is read once by an automated reader, to pick out the merchant, the amount, the date and how often you pay.

What we keep

The sender, the subject line, when it arrived and what was found. Never the body of the email. This history clears itself after 30 days, and our email provider deletes its copy after 30 days as well.

What we never do

Add anything to your account without you confirming it. Read mail from senders you have not allowed. Sell or share your email, or use it for advertising.

One notification a day, at most

A day's finds are summed up in a single notification, sent once they have settled — never one ping per email. Switch it off with Tell me once a day.
