Automatic Detection · Watch

Every recurring charge,
however it gets in.

Connect a bank and the charges find you. Import a statement from any bank in the world. Send Remi a receipt. Or type it in with the logo already there. Four doors, one list — and nothing is saved until you have looked at it.

The charge you forgot
is the one that costs the most.

Nobody overpays for the subscription they think about. They overpay for the one they stopped noticing — the annual renewal from a trial in March, the second streaming service, the app that quietly went from $4.99 to $9.99. Detection exists to put those back in front of you, from whichever source still has a record of them.

01

Connect a bank, and let the charges find you.

Link a US bank or card through Plaid and Renew Reminder reads the transactions, spots the ones that repeat, and turns each into a tracked renewal with its real amount and its real date. New charges keep arriving as they happen — including the one you signed up for and forgot by Tuesday.

  • Read-only: transactions in, nothing out
  • Recurring charges detected from the pattern, not a keyword list
  • Each one becomes a record you can rename, recategorise or ignore
  • Disconnect from the app at any time

02

Import a statement. Any bank, any country.

Export a PDF or CSV statement from your bank and drop it in. Renew Reminder reads every row, works out which charges repeat — across all the files you upload at once, so four charges in one month and four in the next is one monthly subscription — and hands you a list to review. Approve what is right, skip what is not.

  • PDF or CSV, one file or a year of them
  • Cadence detected across files, not per file
  • A review list — nothing is saved until you say so
  • The file is discarded the moment it has been read

03

Send Remi the receipt, or just tell it.

A photo of a bill, a screenshot of the confirmation email, or the sentence “Netflix, $15.49 on the 12th” — Remi reads it, shows you a card with what it understood, and you tap Track it. The fastest way in when you are standing at the moment you signed up.

Or type it in. With the logo already there.

Pick the service from a catalogue of hundreds — the logo, the category and the usual price come with it — set the date and the cycle, and you are done. Free trials get a trial end date and a conversion price, so the reminder lands before the first charge, not after.

  • Service picker with brand logos
  • Monthly, yearly, weekly, quarterly and custom cycles
  • Bills and one-off payments, not just subscriptions
  • Free trials with a conversion date

What happens to your data

We never see your bank password.

The bank connection is Plaid Link: you sign in on Plaid's screen, Plaid hands us a token for read access to transactions, and your credentials never touch our servers.

Statements are read, then gone.

An uploaded statement is processed and discarded. Nothing about it is logged — not a merchant name, not an amount, not even the filename, which usually has your name in it.

You review before anything is saved.

Imports and Remi both produce a list or a card, not a record. What lands in your account is what you approved, line by line.

Rules keep it tidy.

“Anything from AMZN Digital is Entertainment”, “ignore transfers to my savings”, “remind me about charges over $100 thirty days out”. Rules run on what comes in, and you can undo any application of them.

Start with whichever door is nearest

A bank login, a statement export, a receipt in your camera roll or a sentence to Remi. Any of them gets the first charge in; the reminders take it from there.
