Connecting an AI app to Renew Reminder

Add Renew Reminder to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or any MCP client in about a minute — one URL, one sign-in, no keys to copy.

Renew Reminder can be added to AI assistants as a connector. Once connected, your assistant can answer questions like "what renews this month?", total up what you spend, and add a subscription from a receipt you paste in — all against your own account, with permissions you can take back at any time.

What you need

  • A Renew Reminder account on a Premium or Business plan. See Plans and pricing.
  • An assistant that supports MCP connectors: Claude (web, desktop, mobile), Claude Code, ChatGPT (Developer mode), Codex, Cursor and others.
  • This address, which every assistant asks for: https://api.renewreminder.com/mcp

How connecting works

  1. 1In your assistant, add a new connector and paste https://api.renewreminder.com/mcp as the URL. Leave any client ID or secret fields empty.
  2. 2The assistant opens a Renew Reminder page. Sign in if you are not already, and check what it is asking for.
  3. 3Press Allow. You are sent back to the assistant, and it is connected.

That is the whole setup. There is nothing to install and nothing to copy — the assistant registers itself with Renew Reminder and signs in through the same page every time.

Step-by-step for your assistant

Each assistant gets its own connection. You can see every one, and disconnect any of them, under Settings → AI apps in the web app. See Disconnecting an AI app.
