How Renew Reminder works

The three-minute version: you record what renews and when, we tell you before it charges.

Renew Reminder is a tracker with an alarm attached. It does not sit between you and your bank, and it never cancels anything on your behalf. It keeps a list of what you pay for and warns you before the next charge, while you can still do something about it.

The three pieces

  • Subscriptions — one record per service: what it costs, how often it renews, and the next renewal date.
  • Reminders — how far ahead you want to know, and whether that arrives by email, text message, or a push notification.
  • The calendar — every upcoming charge on one screen, so an expensive month is visible before it happens rather than after.

What happens after you add something

  1. 1You add a subscription with its price, billing cycle, and next renewal date.
  2. 2Renew Reminder counts backwards from that date by your advance notice — 7 days by default.
  3. 3On that day, at the time you picked, the reminder goes out on whichever channels you switched on.
  4. 4When the renewal date passes, the record rolls forward to the next one automatically. You never re-enter a date you already gave us.

You do not have to connect a bank. Manual tracking is the whole product and it is free — see What's free and what Premium adds.
