What a connected AI app can see and do

When you connect an assistant, the approval page shows exactly what it is asking for. There are only two permissions, and the assistant acts as you — it never sees anyone else's account.

What it can do

• List and search your subscriptions, bills and investments, with amounts and next billing dates.
• Upcoming renewals — what is due in the next N days.
• Spending summary — monthly recurring spend by currency and category. Totals are your own share of anything you split.
• Add a subscription or bill, the same way the app's Add form does.
• Update a record's amount, billing cycle, next billing date, category or notes.
• Cancel a subscription — it is marked inactive and stops generating reminders. Nothing is deleted.
• Mark as paid — advances the next billing date and logs the payment, like the button in the app.
• Add a payment account — only the last four digits of a card are ever stored.

What it can never do

• Delete a record.
• Change your email, password, reminder settings or billing.
• See your bank login or any bank credentials.
• See the names or contact details of people you split costs with.
• Sign in as you anywhere else.

Currency and amounts

Records are kept in your account currency. If you tell an assistant a price in a different currency, it is recorded as-is under yours — never converted — and the assistant tells you so. Amounts are always the full charge; a split record shows how many people share it.
