Connect Claude (web, desktop and mobile)

Add Renew Reminder as a custom connector in Claude so it can read your subscriptions and add records for you.

Connectors added on claude.ai are available everywhere you use Claude — the website, the desktop app and the mobile app share one connection.

  1. 1Open Claude's Settings, then Connectors (under *Customize*).
  2. 2Choose Add custom connector.
  3. 3Name it Renew Reminder and paste https://api.renewreminder.com/mcp as the URL. Leave the OAuth client ID and secret fields empty.
  4. 4Click Add, then Connect. A Renew Reminder page opens — sign in if asked and press Allow.
  5. 5Back in Claude, start a new chat, open the tools menu (the + or sliders button) and make sure Renew Reminder is enabled for that conversation.

Try asking

  • "What renews in the next two weeks?"
  • "How much am I spending a month on entertainment?"
  • "Add Notion, $8 a month, next billing on the 1st."
  • "I paid the electricity bill today — mark it paid."

Claude asks before running anything that changes your data, such as adding a subscription or marking a bill paid. Reads — listing, totals, upcoming renewals — run without a prompt.

Custom connectors are available on Claude's paid plans. If you do not see Connectors in Settings, check your Claude plan — it is not something Renew Reminder controls.
